I have witnessed this before and I understand emotions are higher during a rap battle while adrenaline is passing through the system.
Preparation has to be a difficult task, due to the pressure of reciting and timing for your place on stage.
So why do we witness rappers loosing cool on the stage?

What can be said about Tsu Surf? Of course, it depends on who you ask? Tsu Surf has undeniable skills, and immaculate delivery. I am a Battle Rap Junkie. When my best friend stops by, he always saysāYou watching that AGAIN?ā I donāt care what anyone says, Battle Rap is a sport! Tsunami Surf is highly disrespectful while Battle Rap, but that is part of the formula. Tsu is very humble and respectful and intelligent.
Tay Roc has what it takes to be top 5, but people can’t envision the Baltimore native at the top of the game. Tay Roc and his money schemes are mind boggling. In a Tay Roc scheme he will put whoever the hell he wants on the face of a fifty dollar bill. No, I mean he will have a scheme with anybody on the bill.

You don’t even realize that face is not the face on the bill until the second viewing of the battle. Tay Roc’s first round with DNA was fire and he defeated DNA, by defending Smack! I a excited as a Lil Terrio at a all day buffet when I hear the Cave Gang hype man’s voice. Tay’s hype man is a jolly good fellow, who can be seen from any angle on stage, usually in the 3-D. Tay will get his recognition eventually, he better! Tsu Surf will carry on his tradition of rhymes and schemes that are over most people’s heads and continue his admiration of self.
Ill Will, BETās Champion, proved to the world, why he and his Team Homi are not going anywhere.Big Kannon is one of the most slept on battle rappers out here, and the Chicago native will eventually get his due. Battle Rap today, has incorporated different regions, ages, and races for new blood!
We have to venture into Chicago, Pontiac, Harlem, Brooklyn, New Jersey, the DMV and the South. So many don’t get a chance to be on that stage. No league should assume they will ever overtake another league.
Every league that begins, does not mean they are trying to REPLACE another league. If anything it gets more men involved in the culture to build and one day grace the longest running and largest of the battle leagues.
If it wasn’t for smaller leagues such as AHAT, we would never heard the barz and fire in the late rapper Young B The Future, it takes sponsors and unification and new blood we must cross different generations and styles.
No one should have an all black lead, or an all white league in battle rap. Ill Will mishaps are behind him, and his Team Homi family should be proud of Will that resides in Pontiac, Michigan!
