Fashion Flash Back: 1980’s For All Dem’ Babies***messymandella***Whitney Houston (1985)

Age doesn’t matter!

Your size doesn’t matter!

The Color of your Skin Doesn’t Matter!
Your hair can be long, short, natural, weave, even a 1980’s mullet and Doc Martins with Crush Velvet (I don’t even know…child…)  but wear it with confidence.

You have to feel that love and admiration, even from a hater. If you prefer the 1980’s but are a little afraid, maybe have a retro party with close friends who appreciate big bangs, hairspray and layers of sock. Maybe, you are not ready for the Patti Labelle hair hat, just as of yet.

They may be  envious of you because YOU can pull it off, and you took that fashion risk.

3 women can wear the same dress, but if you don’t have that confidence, and beauty that embodies grace, you have wasted your time.

Take pride in yourself.

You are amazing, and adventurous. Those clothes, are an accessory for your unique swagger, and gorgeous face. These women are gorgeous, and all of different races an and different hair styles. You keep being confident, you with your bad ass!

All of these looks work, because the confidence is more important than the clothes.
You will stand in the light, and will have fashion mishaps too.

Don’t worry, but again if you are confident you won’t give a damn.

If you are not ready to go out with your hair stacked up to Jesus, or don’t invest in Aqua net Hair Spray have an 1980’s theme party. Don’t let someone tell you to play fashion, safe. That is not for you, if you have confidence.

Don’t worry about other’s opinions.

I don’t!

Why Isn’t Faith Evans On The Top Of The Charts?***messymandella***

  •          Thinking to myself, about Faith Evans and her unsung talent. No one shows Faith Evan’s the attention she deserves. Maybe, because that entire “Faith Evan’s Is the reason Tupac and Biggie Were Beefing!” That  drama was in the 90’s, and  LET THAT GO! We will never know what happened between her and both men. Why does this overshadow this womans talent?

Faith Evans was competition for Mary J.Blige. Now Mary always has Grammy performances, and collaborations. Faith Evan’s releases an album with little or  no promotion. Now she is on a reality show, with women that were of course almost C list singers. Faith deserves so much more. Her voice is  unmatchable. She has changed her image, and still the same results.

Maybe Faith Evans should have tried to resolve her differences  with Bad Boy? When she was with Bad Boy we knew Faith Evans! So many women wanted to look like Faith Evans and loved her swagger.  She will always be one of the best singers, even if you will never see her on MTV or 106  and Park. Maybe we should focus on her music. Maybe people are still pissed  off at Faith Evans, because of Tupac and Biggie’s beef ?That  will never bring these rappers  back! Focus on Faith  and talent, and not her past, or rumors from her haters.
