I once love and hate relationship with Jessie J. I have her First compilation “Who You Are.” Jessie J, for one thing has personal subject matter discussing Bullying, and sexuality, and Inner Strength. Jessie J on the other side of the game, vocal show boats to 98th power. I mean its reminds me of “Gemini’s Twin,” that SNL spoof parody of “Destiny’s Child!” No one should have to hit every syllable just to be a singer. That show boating is a distraction, from your message and vocal attributes. Melisma and lack of self-evaluation are running some fans away from her clever lyrics. Jessie J’s lyrics are self-help for anyone in depression. We know that Jessie has the potential to be one of the most prominent voices in the Music industry. At first I thought my feeling on this Beautiful and strong woman, were biased if I call myself a feminist. The problem is that once you over sing the notes, the message gets lost along the way. She has the potential to be one of the most respected voices in her musical genre. Maybe, she will have that confidence in herself instead of focusing on hitting glass cracking octaves? After listening to Jessie’s J’s music, I am lost on her poetry that is overshadowed by the oversinging. She has many obstacles that she sings about regarding her self-esteem. I would love to hear the thoughts behind the voice of Jessie Cornish! At this moment, Jessie may have gained that inner strength that she needed.
Welcome back, Jessie J, Thank you for realizing, “Who You Are?”
The Wildest Moments Are The Best…
Kyam Livingston a native of New York City and also a 37 Year old mother died while she was in police custody. Kyam violated her restraining order and arrived at her grandmother Teresa Johnson’s house unannounced and uninvited. She was highly intoxicated with Vodka and an argument ensued, but that is not what “happened” to her that last night of her life. After her grandmother called the police, Kyam was of course arrested for public intoxication and breaking her restraining order.
By all accounts Kyam Livingston was indeed intoxicated, but still could walk and speak on her own. Most of us have embarrassed ourselves while intoxicated on occasion with belligerent behavior. This behavior could be agitating to other family members and friends. Kyam never physically touched her grandmother. Her grandmother just wanted her removed from her house, not from her life.
Kyam was transported to Kings County Hospital for her intoxication. A few hours later she was in a holding cell with 15 other women awaiting her arraignment. While in the holding cell with these women, the details become a little sketchy while awaiting arraignment. Apparently Kyam told the police on guard that she was experiencing a throbbing discomfort in her stomach. Kyam begged to go to the bathroom, and apparently soon experienced stomach cramps and discomfort and diarrhea. The policemen ignored her pleas and she was forced to relieve herself in her cell.
Kyam Livingston endured seven hours of laying in her own waste without anyone coming to her aid. A public intoxication misdemeanor did not call for this punishment and embarrassment. Kyam did not lieve long enough to even have an arraignment. She was of course not charged, because she was murdered. Kyam suffered seven hours of begging for assistance? No excuse!
Kyam went into convulsions at 6:40 A.M. That was the only reason she was finally assisted by the police guards. By that time, it was too late. Kyam Livingston was pronounced dead 18 minutes later, official time of death 6:58 A.M.
Why was this woman treated like a dog and forced to lay in her own waste?
Why was Kyam ignored for seven hours?
If she left the hospital before even arriving at the holding cell, what did the hospital miss during her evaluation?
We will never know unless the policeman relinquish the tape and the names of the officers. Truth and punishment will be mandatory to vindicate her death. No woman deserves this treatment suffering in their bitter end. Her life wasn’t a waste, and she should have never been treated as a nothing. I pray for her family and her spirit because her family needs desideratum and she deserves it. I can’t fathom her last hours and her pleading for her life.
POLICEMAN:If an inmate is in your care, and they plead for seven hours and you ignore them, good luck closing your eyes at night! You policeman that were on guard have yourself to blame you facilitated her murder.
Can Kyam Livingston and her family unequivocally “Rest In Peace” until justice is served?
