Fashion Flash Back: 1980’s For All Dem’ Babies***messymandella***Whitney Houston (1985)

Age doesn’t matter!

Your size doesn’t matter!

The Color of your Skin Doesn’t Matter!
Your hair can be long, short, natural, weave, even a 1980’s mullet and Doc Martins with Crush Velvet (I don’t even know…child…)  but wear it with confidence.

You have to feel that love and admiration, even from a hater. If you prefer the 1980’s but are a little afraid, maybe have a retro party with close friends who appreciate big bangs, hairspray and layers of sock. Maybe, you are not ready for the Patti Labelle hair hat, just as of yet.

They may be  envious of you because YOU can pull it off, and you took that fashion risk.

3 women can wear the same dress, but if you don’t have that confidence, and beauty that embodies grace, you have wasted your time.

Take pride in yourself.

You are amazing, and adventurous. Those clothes, are an accessory for your unique swagger, and gorgeous face. These women are gorgeous, and all of different races an and different hair styles. You keep being confident, you with your bad ass!

All of these looks work, because the confidence is more important than the clothes.
You will stand in the light, and will have fashion mishaps too.

Don’t worry, but again if you are confident you won’t give a damn.

If you are not ready to go out with your hair stacked up to Jesus, or don’t invest in Aqua net Hair Spray have an 1980’s theme party. Don’t let someone tell you to play fashion, safe. That is not for you, if you have confidence.

Don’t worry about other’s opinions.

I don’t!

Kate Beckinsale: When Over 40 Looks Better Than 20! ***messymandella***

Women spend thousands of dollars on  cosmetics and skin care lines, with the sole purpose and effort to look more youthful,to hide their age.
We have a billion dollar industry in aging products alone, because being older is deemed less attractive.
When men go through their mid-life crisis, they search for any signs that they are still attractive, and it is a plus if the woman is the closer to the age of the daughter vs. the age of the mother.

According to the tabloids and infomercials,we must eliminate any signs of skin maturity and nature taking it’s course, right?
No!
Angelina Jolie is breath-taking, the older she gets the increasing of her natural aging process taking place.

She looks organically elegant, and she still raises her children and lends her time to charity work. Angelina, didn’t get her cheeks higher, duck lips,or an obvious eye lift.
Gabrielle Union is a doll, and we can’t forget Stacey Dash, and they all our over the age of 40 years old. All of these women’s age complimented their beauty.
We can hide behind our own insecurities if we assume younger is gorgeous, and over 40 years older is just aging well...
Aging and weight are always issues with any women and allurement is always comparative, even before mental strength.
However, we sometimes get better with time, if we let our natural beauty become enhanced. We don’t need to remodel our faces until we look unrecognizable.

As a mother and an actress Kate has to compete with models that are 20 years younger, because according to standards we have set as a society, younger is better. If you enter a room with LisaRaye Mccoy Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, or  that age is simply a number. Glamour is more evident when self-confidence is part of the question.

We must become more at ease and finally accept that women will go through an abundance of plastic surgery to compare with a younger generation. If you put Kate Beckinsale in a room full of women 20 years younger, she will steal the spot light and prove that real women age, like fine wine.

Happy Mother’s Day From The Childless ***messymandella***…

I  shall become a mother, but I wanted to serve my purpose to help others and give my future children a sense of self and determination.

I want my sons to look in the eyes of their dad and see courage and mischief, but also rest in the home knowing everyone in our household will remain safe.

I want my son to want to strive and have wisdom. Their dad must instill values regarding the dangers and mistakes.

I want a daughter that knows she is beautiful, but will

use her mind and spirit to lead.

She will always respect her man or woman. Her partner should always respect her.

I don’t want my daughter’s visiting their baby daddy behind bars, or her husband to have an inmate number for life.

I want to build pride, unification, and self-love within our world.

We as a world can become financial wealth, but spiritual wealth is just as beneficial.

Salute to you mothers that have divinity and life  goals  for empowerment within ourselves and the youth.

You mom’s are the reason I believe in love and a career with strong foundation.

Elisabeth Withers “No Regrets” – End Domestic Abuse!***messymandella***

No one with any respect would mentally and physically torture you.
It is a beautiful thing to accept your past pain from an abusive relationship, and live with no regrets.
Mental  abuse is  different from physical abuse  because the bruises and scars are within. Any form of abuse tears your self-esteem down brick by brick, until your entire perception of self is destroyed.
You can't move on or flourish or find unconditional love, until you find confidence and self-love within.
The emotional and physical abuser will cripple you until you can't appreciate your reflection in your mirror.
Emotional abuse is purposely withholding love and affection knowing it is diminishing your self - esteem.
The physical abuser convinces you that hitting you is their right because you are their possession. The abuser will show the entire world a completely different version of themselves, while gaslighting you.
You will eventually believe that this behavior is acceptable or you deserve it.
You will also question your value and that is the ultimate plan.
Love is nurturing, never embarrassing or hurtful due to control or disrespect.
If someone disrespects you constantly, why would you stay?
People can only do to us what WE let them do. If you have to question your beauty or value, the abuser is already winning.
Take back your control.
People have the ability to change, but only when they want to change.

You are not alone.
I am talking to you...
