“If you want to make a better place,  take a look at yourself and make a change.”

Sometimes you need to be spiritually uplifted.

You decide your destiny and legacy.

Will you stand up for your beliefs, when it goes against the Majority?

This song written over 20 years ago, still has an impact for lasting self-love.

Do you shy away from the true you?

I want you to see the beauty in you!

When  someone tells you about your self-worth, tell them to look in the mirror and to evaluate their own  life.

Fox News Reporter Hannity Defends Walter Scott Against An Uncle Tom!***messymandella***

NEW YORK TIMES

A white police officer in North Charleston, S.C., was charged with murder on Tuesday after a video surfaced showing him shooting in the back and killing an apparently unarmed black man while the man ran away.

The officer, Michael T. Slager, 33, said he had feared for his life because the man had taken his stun gun in a scuffle after a traffic stop on Saturday. A video, however, shows the officer firing eight times as the man, Walter L. Scott, 50, fled. The North Charleston mayor announced the state charges at a news conference Tuesday evening.

The shooting came on the heels of high-profile instances of police officers’ using lethal force in New York, Cleveland, Ferguson, Mo., and elsewhere. The deaths have set off a national debate over whether the police are too quick to use force, particularly in cases involving black men.
If a cop shoots someone and that cop is not in immediate danger, shouldn’t paramedics be called to treat the victim, not just more cops? Shouldn’t that be the priority, ensuring that life is saved?”

You must have a moral compass to navigate yourself in this deceptive world. I am embarrassed to be a native of South Carolina at this moment, and can’t believe that we are soon going to join the same ranks as the other victims that I told myself, were disgraceful people from disgraceful places. We do not deserve the same scrutiny as Ferguson, or do we? What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong! We hold these truths that are self evident and we are obligated for justice for all.

Story is a horrific mess!.
