Unsung -Frankie Knuckles: LGBT Icon And Our Musical Pioneer! ***messymandella***

“While the name Frankie Knuckles may not mean much to some people, it means a whole lot more to a multitude of others around the world. He was a DJ, music producer/remixer, Grammy Award-winner and house music pioneer, but more than that, he was a genuinely nice man and it is not every day that you meet a man like him.

He did not simply play records; he was an evangelist, preaching the virtues of house music to the assembled masses from his DJ console pulpit. He was the DJ that other DJs aspired to be; a man with hits such as Your Love and Tears, who helped to make house music the dominant music of his time.

We first met in the Nineties, in Ibiza I think, at a time when the house music scene was once again in its ascendancy. He was the “Godfather of House”, the man who had worked with the pop royalty that is Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. Yet he was extrememly down to earth; there was no Don Corleone-style presence, no big entourage, just Frankie Knuckles.

And over the years nothing really changed. No matter where we saw each other, whether it was in Ibiza or a fleeting meeting at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Frankie always greeted you with a big smile. And his infectiously warm demeanour spread to everyone he met or was listening to his music.” -personal tribute from

Love Never Felt So Good! ***messymandella***

XSCAPE is an album of previously unreleased Michael Jackson songs. The album is produced and curated by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, who retooled the production to add a fresh, contemporary sound that retains Jackson’s essence and integrity. It’s a process Reid calls “contemporizing.” The list of producers include global hitmakers Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, and John McClain.

RIP Jamal Glenn AKA Mazaradi Fox + Daja Aisha Robinson! ***messymandella***

Life style and gun violence are part of the culture of ignorance. I don’t pack guns to go shopping and I never take one to the cook out! It happens, because in our minds there is a war, but in actually it is a set-up designed to flood the urban communities of with guns, powder, and destruction.

This is how we as a community continue to disrespect our legacy, culture and women. We don’t respect anyone but our pockets, and that is the poison. I could type the story with my eyes close, because someone somewhere is turning a deaf ear,and refuses to accept the realization that we as a culture are destroying, polluting and executing ourselves. That heart you have can’t beat below ground. As another mother buries her son, and another baby mama wears a T-shirt that casket closes.

We have been psychologically engineered to become monkeys with no regard for humanity only and lack of skills for our survival!

We are not monkeys, but SOME OF US have accepted our own predestined down fall.

The Roster of dead rappers is getting longer by the year, but the guns are getting bigger and easier to hide.

People are afraid to speak out against this injustice.

Oh well, I guess our men are just test dummies for this Government experiment…

The late, Mazaradi Fox was just sitting in his car, wasn’t attacking anyone.

The man was just sitting in his car, and someone decided to play God, and put to the clip to his head.

Why? A gun is used for self-defense.

Mazaradi Fox wasn’t bothering anyone, or attacking a soul, but will not reach his 43rd Birthday.

So why is he dead?

Some idiot who needed to pick up a book, picked up a gun.

This beef that will now escalate over this misfortune, and senseless death.

According to MTV, “At 4:10 p.m. at the corner of Farmers Boulevard and 133rd Avenue when the shooter pulled up to a white SUV and let off multiple shots that struck the rapper and
at least three other people, according to the New York Daily News.” This is sadly not the first death that plagued the community…

“The shooter, who was wearing a black ski mask, fled the scene in a separate vehicle, according to reports.

Fox is most known for his past affiliation with 50 Cent, he was signed to the rapper’s G-Unit record label in 2007 and appeared on a number of mixtape tracks with members of Fif’s crew. He never put out an official album with the label, and the deal dissolved in 2008. Even though they severed their business ties, 50 helped Fox pay for the funeral of D’aja Robinson, whom he helped raise, after she was tragically gunned down on a Queens, New York public bus in May 2013.

“Saddened by the news of Mazaradi’s tragic passing my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends,” Fif messaged on Twitter after the news broke.”-MTV

Mazaradi Fox’s step-daughter(he helped raise her), Daja Aisha Robinson was also gunned downed  May 2013, for absolutely no reason but pure ignorance.

Rapper 50 Cent paid for this little angels funeral. dead-bus-girl-1 This little princess was into gymnastics and basketball and fashion lover that will never get to have a high school graduation or a family of her own.

She was shot on a city bus, not bothering anyone.

We have to stop killing our own, and then calling it “Real Hood Shit.”

This is pure Bull Shit, and we all need to wake up and STOP!

Our Babies can’t even ride a bus, because they won’t be  murdered by The Klux Klux Klan, but by a lost black man!

That is why it is mandatory for the stronger and mentally equipped men to speak up for what is right and protect these us. Two deaths from one family that have no social or religious vindication.

Just two people gone forever, from a poisonous heart and no sense of love for his people.

Maybe one day soon we will get it…
