Colorism: Ledisi The Ignored Chocolate Beauty In The Industry!***messymandella***

Ledisi, admitted in an interview that she never thought she was ugly until she became a Neo Soul Powerhouse. In her book she discusses her looks and her definition of beauty. Here is an excerpt:LEDISI

“In the book, there’s a chapter called ‘Beauty’: I talk about how I tell myself ‘I’m beautiful’ everyday because the world says something different. I didn’t know I was considered ‘ugly’ to someone until they said it, because all of my life I’d been told I was beautiful, especially by my mother in particular, so when I got out there in the world, I heard differently.

There are also other versions of beauty out there and I talk about those, saying that the woman we typically would consider ‘beautiful’ may look that way on the outside to the rest of the world, but on the inside, she may be ‘broken.’ There are so many things in other chapters that I talk about: ‘Love.’ ‘Forgiveness.’ ‘Faith.’ ‘Exiting Stage Left,’ all of these different aspects that we can learn from. Men may enjoy some parts of “…..Alright,” since there are men that I celebrate—there’s a quote from President Obama inside that speaks to learning from your failures, for example—but it’s especially for women because I am a woman and that’s all I can really  talk about (laughs). The book has a lot of great stuff inside that I’m proud of: photographs that I’ve never shown, pictures of family members that I don’t really talk about (publicly) and those are the people who really helped me to get to where I am.”

Ledisi,

You Are Beautiful!

Doesn’t matter what  ignorant self- undividual tells you about your race.

Women of all nationalities and complexions are beautiful.

Your skin and your voice outweigh the negativity and all assumptions of outdated characteristics that  once defined beauty.

Your  big lips and your gorgeous chocolate skin is a gift not a curse.

We have to abandon insecurities within our culture and destroy Colorism. We can’t be united if we have an insecurity if our men date someone of another race. My mom has a dark complexion with my features, my father is of a lighter complexion. My cheekbones come from the Native American ancestors and my skin is lighter because of the German  and black slaves  in my family, that were of lighter skin. People would be rude to ask my mom if I was really her daughter?  It would break my mom’s heart that someone would be that intrusive and ignorant. They judged my mom by her skin but not her features it was embaressing and also disgusting to even question her about her baby girl?

We have to inspire unity and abandon insecurity and slave designed hatred that divides black women, still today. Ledisi, Beyonce, Nia Long, Rashida Jones are beautiful women of color that  little black girls should notice. These women are successful, admirable women with  different complexions, but are still undeniably beautiful. We can’t let our babies assume they are ugly or not as pretty as the girl in their class with a lighter complexion. End Colorism!

Shyheim-On And On ***messymandella***

The drug epidemic broke us completely down, and even if everyone stopped slinging crack now the damage has caused prisons to be flooded, and caskets to be lowered.

Dreams were deterred and the families lost daddy, and the family structure to the game.

Now, we can attempt to bring our communities back, but the force and the poison tested on us will not go away, and once again it was not administered by us,but we suffer.

Who wanted to ruin our society?

In 1984 Government officials could not segregate us legally.

They used the crack epidemic to  segregate us chemically and mentally, and their mission was a success.

Can the black families comprehend that it is not weak to be home with their  babies.

I guess it us easier said than done. In our culture people can be together for 8 years with no wedding in site. Meaning they are unconsiously not committed to their loved one.

When it is so easy to walk away, our children receive less. Don’t stay JUST BECAUSE OF THE CHILDREN. However,If you look into our history after the Crack Epidemic moms and dad’s were pitted against each other.

In some instances the boyfriend supplied the girlfriend or wife with the crack.

Our sons took note and realized that any reason to leave, is better than any reason to stay.

The fathers that sacrificed for their seeds, are raising grateful children that admire their effort and unconditional love.

Check out the statistics on our men,and how many are currently incarcerated that never had fathers in their life.

Some are currently in prison with their fathers.I understand that some of these men want better when they are released, their felony records will not get them a salary  and a 401 K. The Crack Epidemic instrumented in the death of the black families.

That is another generation of boys watching and learning from the downfall of the 80’s and they are being borned 5 years later.  We marched in the 60’s and 70’s and our  people had a sense of pride.

We must bring unity and respect back to our  culture.

It is embarrassing when men and women with no means of support have 13 children that they can not take care of, and the babies are loosing in the progress.

Dad and mom need to stand together and motivate our children to  be better. This video is from 1994, and look around and tell me how far we have truly come?

Ohio’s New’s Reporter Kristi Capel, Says Lady Gaga Sings “JIGABOO” Music!***messymandella***Fox is Deleting This Soon To Save Face.

“I deeply regret my insensitive comment. I didn’t know the meaning and would never intentionally use hurtful language. I sincerely apologize…”

As a representative for the Jigaboo’s, I will accept your heart felt apology!

However, I will need a  couple of items from you, before I accept your apology and your Jim Crow thinking.

You can ship these items first class  to my Cotton Field.

4 watermelons

6 opossum pies

3 boxes of  black shoe polish

5 bags of fried chicken seasoning

9 field hand sleeve warmers

If you think for one second that I am nice enough to forgive your actions and your disrespect, you have never read any page on my site.

If you didn’t know what the word “Jigaboo” meant, why did you use the word?

What were you attempting to describe, in regards to her music?

So,  for our race  relations and historical purposes you shouldn’t be fired, fire that black man who laughed.

You should be locked in a room and forced to listen to 15 hours of Negro Spirituals while “Book Of Negroes” and “Roots” plays on repeat!

That would be only the beginning of forgiveness for using that word.

Just Bamboozled!

reason 105 why you will never catch me at a migo’s concert!***messymandella***

The Migos will never leave that street mess back at the Bando’!

The trio will eventually become a duo if this keeps happening.

Here is fight footage,of why I ain’t even trying to die bouncing to their music and unavoidable shoving, hitting, and eventually thot’s screaming and gun shots.

Damn all that, I like my life…

Fredo Santana has also declared war on the Migos.

He is besties with The Omen AKA Chief Keef, so that situation has no resolve in sight!

Chiraquians do not resolves beefs, it is not their way!  Now since Quavo was robbed of his chain no one is safe at one of their gang fights concerts!

Chain Thievery is more important than kidney transfusions in the hood,  so this means more security at the trap and on the Tour Trail. They are destined for greatness, and a positive livelihood while they embark on a life of prison cells  financial freedom!
