This past week has been a disheartening expierence for the entirety of our free world and the entire world watched Dylan Roof destroy our sanctuary in his delusional ignorance and to concecrate what we considered sacred and the racial discriminations of the past were registered. The evidence of heartfelt condolences here in my state of South Carolina were more than we could ever imagined. Southern towns consider churches as a second home. In any place to worship you feel safe in church. Some people are blessed to be part of history even in tragedy it heals to remember that the Emmanuel Church in Charleston, has always lived through segregation and other racial discrimination but never anything such as that shooting. We are still blessed to have nine people in history that met a tragic demise but deaths will never be in vain.
