Dr. Maya Angelou Our “Phenomenal Woman” Dies At 86 Years Old***messymandella***

“Poet and essayist Maya Angelou died Wednesday at the age of 86, her publisher, Random House, has confirmed.

Winston-Salem, N.C., Mayor Allen Joines told WFMY News 2 that Angelou’s caregiver found her dead in her home Wednesday morning.

Angelou is best known for her classic memoir I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.

As news of her death spread, other writers paid their respects via Twitter:

J.K. Rowling quoted Angelou saying, “You are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” And added, “Maya Angelou – who was utterly amazing.”

Jodi Picoult thanked her “for teaching the rest of us how to use words with bravery and grace to move the world to tears and action.”

Angelou was a high school dropout who went on to become a professor of American Studies at Wake Forest University.”-USA Today


Our  Phenomenal  Woman has passed on, today was her day and she lived a life of elegance, dignity. She was a prominent contributor to the Civil Rights Movement and rights for women of all ethnic backgrounds.

Tears and distress can enter your life without warning and deception can knock you down, as it did to the late Dr. Maya Angelou.That pain was her motivation. Even when trusted people deceived her and she felt alone.

However that deception and abuse in her child hood, was a curse that gave her the gift of inner strength.

Her unmistakable love for all women is what we should commemorate, Forever.

You ponder over your life and wonder should you compromise your own beliefs to become submissive, and weaker to appease lonesomeness,  in some negative person’s  life?

Remember  Dr.Maya Angelou,when he or she calls you ugly, too dark, or too pale, or any derogatory term that you don’t deserve.

Think of Maya Angelou, when you are tempted to lower your standards to appease someone else.

Learn by your life’s mistakes but still show courage and heart in every aspect of your life.

Mental abuse is hurtful and the the treatment  has a way of wearing you down in your life, but still you rise.

When a lover or friend betrays you remember “Still I Rise.” 

Dr. Maya Angelou stated, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Think of Maya Angelou today, but her prophetic messages will always bring forth that self-love that some will try to steal from you to break you down.

Conjure up your thoughts for a meaningful destiny and a legacy that no one will be ashamed of, when you pass through this life.

  Don’t ever  forget the authoritative but genuine way Dr.Angelou demanded and ultimately received.

You deserve that same respect. 

Dr. Angelou demanded your ear and she received our hearts too.

Her interviews, life lessons, poems and stories will indefinitely bring forth positive enforcement.

All women think back to the moment you first realized you were a “Phenomenal Woman.”

You, demand respect but still must conjure up the spirit of Dr.Maya Angelou, when your faith in yourself is shaken.
