In 1984 at the beginning of “The Crack Epidemic” we were told that we had to “Just Say No To Drugs.”
Who the hell said, “Yes!” it wasn’t the community,so who created the game?
I am not aware of any hustler in the hood that has his own jet to fly crack through the friendly skies.
Can Tyrone standing on the corner crank up his jet,fly over and bring back product or powder to flood the streets?
Does Latorya have a compass and a Passport to Nicaragua?
You know the answer to both of those questions.
If it is damn near impossible for us to flood the country and we would laughed if someone asked, don’t you think it was a fairytale back then to make all that money?
Don’t you think we were set up in 1984, when the fantasy became a financial and ethical nightmare?
We were systematically drugged and controlled by the Crack Epidemic and the families our still struggling from it.
If daddy is doing a bid, and mom has to raise 3 little girls and a son or older brother wants to be “the man of the house” that sparks the flame…
If you create those prison boxes and caskets to put men in, that community loses a builder, teacher, and protection.
It is that simple to chip away at the family structure.
You can tell when a crack head became addicted.
Look at the way they are dressed.
Most crack addicts dress in the era that they were sober.
It is a dead give away that they were cracked out in the 1980’s, if they have a side pony tail , patent leather shoes and a hot pink Wind Breaker Jacket.
The drug epidemic broke us completely down, and even if everyone stopped slinging crack now the damage has caused prisons to be flooded, and caskets to be lowered.
Dreams were deterred and the families lost daddy, and the family structure to the game.
Now, we can attempt to bring our communities back, but the force and the poison tested on us will not go away, and once again it was not administered by us,but we suffer.
Who wanted to ruin our society?
In 1984 Government officials could not segregate us legally.
They used the crack epidemic to segregate us chemically and mentally, and their mission was a success.
San Jose Mercury News journalist Gary Webb sparked national controversy with his 1996 Dark Alliance series which alleged that the influx of Nicaraguan cocaine started and significantly fueled the 1980s crack epidemic. Investigating the lives and connections of Los Angeles crack dealers Ricky Ross, Oscar Danilo Blandon, and Norwin Meneses, Webb alleged that profits from these crack sales were funneled to the CIA-supported Contras. Although Webb never claimed that the CIA directly aided drug dealers, it echoed the Kerry Committee conclusion that the CIA was aware of large shipments of cocaine into the U.S. by Contra personnel.-Wikipedia
Gary Webb is not lying to you.
We did not have the capacity and the financial backing to flood the streets, but the friendly skies were open to those who could afford it, and no one would think to check our Central Intelligence…
The men who possessed our Central Intelligence used cracked up pieces of soap to control our minds and spirits.
The government and used our community and livelihood to destroy our dignity and culture.
We have Crack Addicted babies that become hustlers and sell it to the new breed of addicts.
No one in America hates their own, we were controlled, abandoned in a jungle full of addiction and ghost of former ancestors, that now have disease, poverty, and violence.
“We let others still our royalty, and confused money with loyalty.” ***messymandella***
Ok, first things first, Why would anybody anticipate a Shotgun Suge would win in any battle, battle arena, or by any battle league?
We get different characters, but the identical plot stays on repeat.
This time Tycoon Tax is victorious just by technicalities.
We know Shotgun Suge has bars, but the Cryptnesia needs to end, forever.
What is Cryptnesia?
It is when you assume that you are going to remember your barz, but you don’t so instead of admitting you choked You start throwing racial slurs at your opponent. You distract the audience from your semi prepared bars or Cryptnesia.
Suge has the same expression every time he is about to choke, and I know that look. In the battle world, Shot Gun may never compete with the elite, because no one assumes he will give a lyrical performance. His advantage is his stage presences, and body weight that he uses to tip the lyrical scale.
Just imagine, if he did not choke?
He can rap his ass off, and his music is better than his battles.
Still Shotgun Suge has some of the most disrespectful, but some of the memorable lines in the history of battle rap.
In theater and in any art form, primarily in battle rap, a choke destroys the moment, the momentum and the audience gets distracted and the mood changes, and it is unfair to your opponent.
That build up that one hears when the verbal jabs connect are what the viewers wait for and expect to get, after they have paid their money.
Keep doing your think Big Grape, and since you are “The Shooter and the Driver” I think you need to be more comfortable.
You know I can’t see you circling the block in a Smart Car or a Geo Storm because you are gigantic.
So, as a fan, I have a suggestion!
Next time you are “the shooter and the driver” I want you to have a lot a room for your big ol’ self.
Here you go, Suge, drive this _____>http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Wrd2AXbL6Xw/UgmY1rR3FUI/AAAAAAAAOBc/WFJzZoJj7UY/s1600/P1020810.JPG
Apparently we have overlooked the barz and the ability of Battle Rapper, Danny Myers.
Danny Myers delivery and word play bring that comedic delivery and aggression to his stage presence.
Where the hell have they been hiding Danny?
The last time I saw him with Rum Nitty, I didn’t even give Danny a second thought…
KG The Poet one of the people who had to prove himself, delivers barz like the so called veterans in the game.
His style has improved, and KG The Poet decided to leave those schemes behind.
He is NOT Chilla Jones (one of my favorites) and at times KG’s schemes and styles were too coincidental…
KG, is a novice to the ring, but in this battle he demonstrated his determination and work ethic, and showmanship .
I sadly watched DC.Curry in the movie “The Wash” Sunday…
KG, killed the second round.
This battle sponsored by King Of The Dot is breathing life into the game.
Too many chokes can break the momentum, the consistency and the concentration of the audience.
Both Rappers went above and beyond to give the audience, what they paid for and respect.
With momentum and memorization in this close battle, that some are calling it a draw.
One of the closest battles, in a minute because both rappers came prepared, some people are doing that now…
Danny Myers needs more camera time, why is he not on the URL Stage, Smack White?
Some of the hottest, “Top Tier” rappers have become divas and believe they are doing the audience a favor, because THEY showed up.
I have not seen a battle this close since Hollow Da Don and Loaded Lux.
This KTOD Rap Battle was not of the same caliber, but still no one “caught a body.”
People still debate who won between Hollow Da Don and Loaded Lux and with no clear winner, that is a clue that both rappers perfected their craft.
Give KG the Poet more time, and Danny Myers more exposure, in this case both men deserve it.
KG The Poet, did the damn thing.
Danny Myers still won…2-1.
Don’t take my word for it watch your damn self!
Look at new blood, aggression, and artist preparation, sponsored by King Of The Dot!
