We will never be unified,it seems. A certain color of skin, hairstyle, swagger or clothing signify “Criminal” and trouble? Why would one look alone automatically consider one rapper a target of an unfair and bias assumption, of a police officer in Las Vegas?
This is fear and apprehension in this policeman’s eyes, for a stranger. This could have ended the way Oscar Grant’s night ended, but it did not and we as a country have to ask ourselves, are we really equal? I despise homophobic, racist and the sexist judgmental portion of our society. This man finished a concert, and what did he do again?
Look at the fear in this police man’s eyes, but why is he so afraid? Actions speak louder than words,and in this case,our societies stereotypes of all men can unfairly blind us from the truth.
