The death of a 14-year-old  is never easy for a community. This death sadly  ended by two gang members looking for retaliation, in Oakland California.

The boy begged for his life.

Ricardo Cortez Jr. was a student at Far West High School in North Oakland, California.

Ricardo met his untimely demise on Aug. 21, 2009; while playing with friends outside.

Montano and Zamora, both members of the Sureno Gang executed the teen, without any explanation.

The gang members pulled out a gun wrapped in cloth and killed him in front of his friends.

The last words muttered by the teen were “WHY ME?”
